After the channel tunnel and our first stop for the night in Dijon nice camping on the river running into Lac Kir

Then on to Evolène in Valais Switzerland, chocolate box traditional Swiss village up in the mountains, one of the most beautiful places. I used to work in the Sports shop here in the Summer below is a clip of the drive from Evolène to Les Haudères on our way to Lac Blu

Lac Blu, great hike up! about a 40 minute steep hike up but worth the effort!

Morty our spaniel loved swimming in the lake even though it was very cold. Took a picnic and enjoyed the breath taking views.

Arolla and the glacier

At the end of the valley is Arolla at 1998m altitude and its glacier, it can be seen but the over the top of this mountain is the famous Matterhorn
