Jonathan White

An amazing athlete and so much more!

Jon is a world champion para-paddler and a true inspiration. In his words: "I tell my story and use it to inspire people by making them realise what they are capable of and what their organisations are capable of."

Jon was a Captain in the Royal Marines. In 2010, he sustained life-altering injuries while on patrol in Afghanistan. Since then he has become one of Britain's top paracanoe athletes. In 2025 he won gold at the European Championships in Portugal, then gold in his classification at the World Championships, where he also finished 4th overall in the Open race. He followed this with a silver medal at the 2026 European Championships in Romania.

Jon now has his sights set on the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games, with a World Championship medal and a Paralympic qualifying time as his next targets.

He also raises funds for The Royal Marines Charity, including an incredible 101.5-mile paddle along the Tiverton Canal, taking 21 hours 45 minutes, over Christmas 2022.

Away from the water, Jon is an inspirational speaker, leadership consultant, executive coach and facilitator, sharing his story with students, companies and audiences around the world.
